On June 19, in Tirana the RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov met with the Head of the Delegation of Moldova to PABSEC Violeta Ivanov, The Head of the Delegation of Armenia to PABSEC Gagik Minasyan attended the meeting.

The sides highlighted the development, and enlivening of mutual visits of the inter-parliamentary relations.

The interlocutors referred to the existing conflicts in the Black Sea Region, presented their viewpoints and expressed concerns on some problems and highlighted the settlement of the conflicts exclusively through peaceful means on the basis of the principles of the international law.

Touching upon the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Eduard Sharmazanov noted: “The military solution of the problem is inadmissible. There should not be an alternative for the peaceful settlement. The importance of the execution of the right to self-determination is necessary to realize.”

The interlocutors emphasized the deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation on different international parliamentary platforms.
